Nautilus Symbolism

Nautilus

The Nautilus is linked to sacred geometry, and one of the oldest creatures known to survive in the earth's oceans. It has been around 450 million years. It represents balance and harmony and the life cycle.

The name nautilus means sailor.

Also linked to the sacred spiral. It is about change, growth, excitement and trusting what's to come. Being protective, willing to do what's necessary to take care of yourself emotionally. Growing, foundational.

Southern substance and new ideas. It is the symbol of water, which represents our natural intuition and our emotions. It also speaks to dream work and paying attention to the little signs and synchronicities around us.

The chambers that form throughout its life, allow for the nautilus to float in the ocean.

It is akin to the golden ratio, which is the creation pattern. The nautilus teaches us to go with the ebb and flow of life, to know our unlimited potential, as well as work with the world around us and how it can be utilized to our benefit.
